Celebrating its fourth year of success, McCarthys were delighted to once again attend the annual Local Flavours event, held at the Royal Norfolk Showground.

Since its conception, Local Flavours has acted as a catalyst, bringing together all aspects of local food and drink industries within the region; 2016 was no exception, with around one hundred producers, growers, manufacturers and distributors on show. Local Flavours offers variable platforms for advertising, with stalls able to exhibit to regional buyers within the industry, yet also meet and pitch to supermarket chains in a bid to distribute their products on a national scale.

As well as buyers, prominent figures within both the agricultural and food industries were on hand to offer advice, as well as connect various businesses together.

Joe Allen and Sam McCarthy were in attendance for McCarthys, exhibiting a range of in-season local produce from East Anglia. As well as Local Flavours, McCarthys continue to champion both local business and employment, and were immensely proud to demonstrate this to all who attended.
